Last week, Anthony Horowitz, the novelist selected to write the next James Bond book, had to issue an apology after telling the Daily Mail that Black British actor Idris Elba is “too street” and not “suave” enough to play Bond in a movie. After rumors of Elba portraying the popular secret agent surfaced, last month Elba told Variety, “It’s all rumorville. I’m not speaking to the James Bond people. They are not speaking to me. So if it was going to happen, there you go—the will of the nation.” Elba went on to say that if he were ever cast as Bond, he’d have his fans to thank.
Porsha Williams revealed a few details about her reported run-in with “Real Housewives of Atlanta” castmate Cynthia Bailey Aug. 31, during which Bailey reportedly kicked Williams in the stomach during a boat outing on Lake Lanier in Atlanta. Williams confirmed that the incident happened while the ladies were filming the show on the boat. She added that the ladies were drinking and “everyone was having a good time” ahead of their altercation.
According to E! News, Venus Williams can now add “college graduate” to her career accomplishments. The tennis ace has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Indiana University. She enrolled in the school’s online degree completion program back in 2011. She picked up her diploma in person at the Richmond, Ind., campus in August while on her way to a tournament in Cincinnati.

Despite reports to the contrary, singer-songwriter Ne-Yo is denying that he wed his girlfriend, Crystal Renay. However, the crooner says the couple is engaged to be married and confirmed that the model is expecting a child. Congratulations!
