Academy Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o is coming uptown to speak at MIST Harlem on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m.
The event is being hosted by The Public Theater, New Heritage Theater Group and MIST Harlem. Nyong’o, best known for her role in the 2013 film 12 Years a Slave, sits down with acclaimed journalist Michaela Angela Davis to talk about her life as artist and global citizen.
On Wednesday, Nyong’o began her latest role at The Public Theater’s New York premiere of Eclipsed. The stage play will run through Nov. 29.
The event at MIST Harlem is free and opened to the public. Seating is limited. Reservations are required by emailing email@example.com to be put on the wait list.
