An estimated 1 million people gathered on the Washington Mall Oct. 10, to attend the Justice or Else rally called by Minister Louis Farrakhan in recognition of the 20th anniversary of the Million Man March.
Activists, elected officials, clergy, spiritual leaders, pop culture artists and everyday people from all over the nation came to listen to speakers who touched on issues that ranged from police brutality, inner-city violence and the work of building the inner-city communities, to self-sufficiency, self-determination and international unity among people of color.
