The 15th annual statewide “Diversity Issues in Higher Education” conference is being held at Ramapo College of New Jersey Friday, Nov. 6, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 505 Ramapo Valley Road in Mahwah, N.J.
The event is designed to involve educators, college personnel, corporate diversity leaders, recruiters, career-advancement professionals, government and community leaders, students and the general public.
Dr. Christopher Catching, assistant vice president for student affairs at Southern Connecticut State University, will serve as the keynote speaker. Catching will address the topic “Leadership and Perspectives on Higher Education Access and Equity.”
Breakout session topics include law enforcement and race relations, transgender issues and student-led action.
