Some Brooklyn Bedford Academy High School students who were given the opportunity to witness the swearing in of Attorney General Loretta Lynch in June this year were given the opportunity to visit the White House last week. Students and chaperones saw famous rooms such as the Green Room, the Red Room, the Vermeil Room and much more.

“I was so ecstatic when I heard that I was going to the White House,” said Jasmine Lindsay. “I am now able to say I walked in the same room as the president!”

After the White House tour, the students met with Lynch and were given a personal tour of her office. “I and my classmates were all excited that we was given a personal tour by Ms. Lynch,” said Safiya Layne. “She took time out of her really busy day to meet and talk to us. We are truly grateful!”
