Real estate mogul and activist Roy Donahue Peebles will serve as the keynote speaker at the Black Institute’s Nov. 20 Minority and Women Business Enterprise reception at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn at 6 p.m.

The reception is the first event collaboration between TBI and new research partner the Dubois Bunche Center for Public Policy at Medgar Evers College. The discussion will center on ensuring minority-and women-owned businesses gain a fairer share of city contracting opportunities. Former New York Gov. David A. Paterson and Mount Vernon Mayor-elect Richard Thomas are guests at the MWBE reception.
