Members of the Pathfinders youth ministries group from the Willis Avenue Seventh-day Adventist Church participated in a community service project last week.
Members handed out free bagels and hot chocolate to the community. The co-ed chapter of the group has 17 young people. They plan to perform other service activities, including monthly food giveaways.
The Pathfinders are a worldwide organization of young people sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, although young people of any religious persuasion, or none at all, are welcome to join.
Along with community service projects, the Pathfinders participate in camping, leadership training and religious growth.
