During last week’s New York autumn-winter 2016 Men’s Fashion previews, RalphyPablo debuted an intimate collection. For the quintessential man, their selection showcased staple pieces. Their classic Italian wool pea coats were terrific toppers in olive, navy and camel. Paired with wool, slim-fit, cropped pants, these two pieces were hits on the runway and the talk of the town.
Rafeal Aguirre, the designer of the line, wanted to create a collection that kept a minimal approach to unique cuts and silhouettes this season. Other interesting pieces integrated into the collection included square-neck T-shirts and white, button-down shirts with long sleeves. There was also a vibrant knit sweater with a slit shoulder that was eye-catching. For a more streetwear look, his bomber jackets were paired with tweed, wide-legged trousers and Italian wool shorts. For fall-winter ’16, shorter jackets were featured in electric blue and black leather, black shearling and neoprene with metal hardware and nylon textiles.
The identity of the RalphyPablo brand was well-represented in their 10-piece collection. Each look was paired with the company’s official sponsor, Supra, which showed three variations of the black, lightweight, low-top runner. Accessories by Chrishabana were also incorporated into the line. Special accents like galactic ear cuffs, rings and steel nose rings adorned each model.
