State Sen. Bill Perkins hosted the event entitled, “Recognizing Women Who Have Embraced the Rapidly Changing Field of Technology as a Profession or as a Business Owner.”
The local tech-savvy and business-minded women honored were Michelle N. Bullock, Ericka Davis,
Cheryl McKay and Velma McKenzie-Orr.
The Women’s History Month shindig was held at the Adam Clayton Powell State Office Building Monday, March 28, 2016, and was co-hosted by The National Association of Business and Professional Women’s Club Inc.
