The United Palace House of Inspiration is hosting a celebration in honor of the Rev. Dr. Eula M. Dent Eikerenkoetter and her 50 years service to Rev. Ike Ministries and the greater United Palace community.
The event will take place May 15 during Sunday service, from noon to 2 p.m. at United Palace (4140 Broadway). The Rev. Dr. Sheila McKeithen, president of The Universal Foundation for Better Living and spiritual leader of The Universal Centre of Truth for Better Living in Kingston, Jamaica will deliver a keynote address. The celebration will continue at 3 p.m. with a banquet in the mezzanine event space. There is a suggested donation of $50.
Eikerenkoetter is the widow of late televangelist the Rev. Dr. Frederick J. Eikerenkoetter II (known as the Rev. Ike). She helped to galvanize the ministry and is a spiritual leader and philanthropist.
Their son, Xavier Eikerenkoetter, currently leads the church, growing it into a multipronged community organization, including United Palace House of Inspiration, United Palace of Cultural Arts and United Palace Theatre.
