Friends and family came together to remember late NBA player Dwayne “Pearl” Washington. A wake was held at Corner Stone Baptist Church along with funeral services at the Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn on April 29. Washington was point guard in the NBA. During his career played for the New Jersey Nets and the Miami Heat. Washington died on April 20 from cancer. He was 52.
