The second annual Harlem EatUp! festival has come to a close. The Dine Ins have been turned out, The Stroll has been stomped and The Taste has been devoured. The official numbers aren’t in yet, but a very rough calculation … (13 Dine Ins × 4 courses × an average of 50 guests) + (2 days of The Stroll × 100 or so vendors sampling or selling an average of 1,000 plates/glasses served) … equals so much food fun! Let’s just say lots of eating was going down, all to raise money for beneficiaries Citymeals on Wheels, Harlem Park to Park and Historic Harlem Parks.

Congratulations again to our #ImSoAmNewsFOOD winners: Aromas Boutique Bakery & Café, OHH! Barley Water and Ida Preserves. You made us proud and represented Harlem small food businesses well. Continue to push forward in your endeavors and go for all of your goals! Welcome to the AmNewsFOOD family!

Now, back to the math, if it is said, “a picture is worth a thousand words,” this week we invite you to enjoy the view from the photo gallery and let these photos tell the story of Harlem EatUp! 2016. They are a representation of this four-day festival.
