Newark Symphony Hall and Ma’oon Inc. present “Path Towards Understanding Quran Through Recitation & Competition on Sunday, June 12 from 4:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Newark Symphony Hall located at 1030 Broad Street in Newark, NJ.
Students are representing various Islamic Schools and organizations to display their talents and linguistic skills of reciting the Qur’an. The top 15 Students of Qur’an who have shown proficiency in reading, pronunciation, and rhythm will be judged for their abilities and awarded in three categories. The Qur’an Competition will be followed an international ‘iftar, provided by the international communities of Greater Newark and vicinities. There will also be an awards presentation immediately afterwards.
