Three high-ranking NYPD officials and a Brooklyn-based businessman were arrested and charged Monday in connection to an alleged scheme to provide bribes, such as a Super Bowl trip, a stay with a prostitute, and other costly favors in exchange for “cops on call” and expedited gun-license applications.
Deputy Chief Michael Harrington, Deputy Inspector James Grant, Sgt. David Villanueva and self-described NYPD “liaison” Jeremy Reichberg were all arrested Monday morning, according to the United States Attorney Southern District of New York.
