An “excessive” number of shootings occurring on the Fourth of July and the following morning in New York City has left 14 people injured, according to the NYPD.
Twelve people were shot on Monday’s Independence Day holiday, and an additional two were injured between midnight and 7 a.m. Tuesday, police confirmed.
