The 2016 U.S. prison, labor and academic delegation to Palestine presents the program “Imprisoned Resistance: Politics of Incarceration in Palestine and the US” July 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Malcolm X and Betty Shabazz Center, located at 3940 Broadway at 168th Street in Manhattan.

The event will feature a discussion on of how the U.S. and Israel use incarceration to contain and dismantle resistance. Members of two recent delegations to Palestine—a prison, labor and academic delegation and a Dream Defenders delegation—will speak.

Other speakers at the event include Mumia Abu-Jamal, Laura Whitehorn, Rabab Abulhaudi, Johanna Fernandez and Nancy Mansour.
