The Black Institute and the Black, Latino and Asian Caucus is hosting a series of forums on access to credit capital for minority- and women-owned business enterprises (M/WBEs) in Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx and Queens.

The town forums will feature a panel of elected officials and M/WBEs and address the city’s M/WBE community, who have faced difficulties in gaining credit and capital, been unfairly denied a loan or been made to go through extensive and unnecessary processes to obtain a loan.

The forums will be held Sunday, Sept. 22, at First Baptist Church of Crown Heights (450 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn), Thursday, Sept. 29, at RWDSU (370 Seventh Ave., Manhattan), Wednesday, Oct. 5, at The Bronx Library Center (310 Kingsbridge Rd.) and Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the Queens Central Library (89-11 Merrick Blvd., Jamaica). All of the forums begin at 6 p.m.
