Out-Reach Ministries is sponsoring a free Autism Awareness Gospel Concert to be held at United Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic, Pastor Granville Senior, 3936 Bronxwood Ave., Bronx, N. Y. This event will be Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, and will begin promptly at 6 p.m. (doors will open at 5 p.m.). This electrifying evening will consist of various gospel soul artists, various educators and others who are able to shed light on autism.

Autism is “a serious developmental disorder that impairs the ability to communicate and interact.” Autism has become widespread, affecting many families. Besides being the founder of Out-Reach Ministries, I am also an educator for special needs children for the Department of Education, so I know firsthand the effects autism can have on the child as well as the family. The Autism Awareness Gospel Concert will have Gospel soulful singing to comfort the minds and souls of those attending as well as testimonials from people on the world of autism.

This year will be the Ministries’ third year in sponsoring autism awareness concerts. For more information, please contact the church at 718-881-4479.
