East meets West in Beijing, China at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week China. After presenting previews from Oct. 25 to 30, the show ended, but the Art Hearts Fashion designers left a lasting impression. AHF presented six international brands to the MBFW runway and brand exhibit at 751D Park. All shows were outstanding.
Here is a brief recap: Saturday, Oct. 29 at 7:30 p.m., six unique international designers surprised the fashion VIP audience and took them on an amazing Western journey. The showcase opened with a children’s brand, Lulu Et Gigi, from Paris, France. The brand’s signature line, Parisian Flair, lit up the runway with checks, stripes, patterns and bright colors. Celebrity model Madeline Stuart closed the show to a round of applause for a great cause.
Hale Bob, designed by Daniel Bohbot, took center stage with gorgeous silk ensembles. It’s one of LA’s favorite brands. In this collection, there were beautiful blue themes in printed jumpsuits, pantsuits and day dresses. The designer gave the audience a preview of their denim line. Argyle Grant followed with a standing ovation and loud cheer. His handsome male models walked the runway in sophisticated speedo swimwear and resort wear that included short sleeved shirts and Bermuda shorts in interesting patterns. The brand has become known for edgy street wear with swag appeal.
Mister Triple X, designed by Erik Rosete, brought a sexy display of menswear and womenswear to the MBFW runway. The men’s swimwear pieces were shown with loose ties that were very effective. Cover-ups were dainty, embellished and sheer. The standout brand, Arzamendi Style, designed by Ada Arzamendi, had the audience in awe. Her models graced the catwalk in pink gowns and matching pink wigs. The look was elegant cocktail to evening with delicate details, long and short styles with asymmetrical hemlines. The grand finale of Arzamendi’s segment featured a gorgeous bridal gown that left a memorable impression. The evening closed with celebrity designer Wilfredo Gerardo. Gerardo showed his signature eveningwear and sexy silhouettes to wrap up the show. His designs were dramatic with long, trumpet-shaped sleeves and gowns with high splits.
Behind-the-scenes executive producer Rosete and show director Didi Roberts worked hand in hand with co-producer Daniela Shaw. They also teamed up with Fashion ME to put on a flawless show. Beauty looks were created by makeup sponsor Helijia. Models, guests and team members stayed hydrated with Hey Juice, the official beverage of Art Hearts Fashion MBFW China.
