A number of dignitaries and elected officials joined members of the Motley family for a ceremony last Saturday for the co-naming of a lane in honor of Judge Constance Baker Motley, the first Black female federal judge in the nation. The event, under the auspices of the Harlem Cultural Archives and convened in the auditorium of Harlem Hospital, included a film presentation and tributes from the guests.  The lane that will bear her name is the service drive road behind little Riverton adjacent to Harlem River Drive, between 135th and 138th streets.
