Greetings! My deepest appreciation to WBLS-FM’s Dr. Bob Lee’s Make the Grade Foundation for being a 2016 recipient of their 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award, and to Dr. Ron Daniels’ Institute of the Black World for being awarded their 2016 Legacy Award, along with my Amsterdam News colleague, the legendary, Herb Boyd. as I finish he last month of my 50th New York State broadcast anniversary. “Loving” is a 2016 historical drama film written and directed by Jeff Nichols. It features Joel Edgerton and Ruth Negga as Richard and Mildred Loving, the plaintiffs in the 1967 U.S. Supreme Court decision Loving v.
