For fall 2016/2017, designers offered an array of great fashion choices that are sure to deliver cold weather chic. From jaw-dropping yet beautiful intarsia mink coats, to cheeky fox chubbies, robust shearling, sumptuous sables or luxe lynx, this season is full of great outerwear. It’s all about making the right style statement.

Fashion trends include statement coats with volume. Proportions are important. Silhouettes are strong. Look for vests and jackets in a variety of lengths and shapes. There’s a return to the 1980s styles. In color, furs in jewel tones, prints and patterns are beautiful. There’s also a color craze with colorful contrast collars and cuffs on coats. Accessories add a luxurious touch to your outfit, especially in fur bags, gloves, scarves, hats, mittens and muffs. The key is to be warm. So layer up!

For the guys, there are plenty of great ways to fight the cold, too. This season, men’s fur fashion options range from a more rugged appeal to polished and sophisticated looks. Fur hats, scarves and gloves protect you and keep heat from escaping. These fashionable accessories provide warmth and affordable way to fight the cold and add a bit of dash to your wardrobe.
