Activist pastor the Rev. Herbert Daughtry just announced that the Atlantic Yards/Nets/DBNA Community Foundation and the DBNA Capacity Building Grant Program will provide grants of $5,000 to Brooklyn-based community organizations that work under the following categories:
• Fostering Economic Self-Sufficiency
• Prisoner Re-Entry Initiatives
• Youth and Child Programs
• Health Programs
• Environmental Sustainability
To qualify for a grant, organizations and initiatives are required to complete an application. The application deadline is June 16, 2017. Those organizations selected to receive grants will be notified by summer 2017. For more information, visit www.TheDBNA.org/Community-Foundation.
