Thursday, April 20, 2017, Dr. Jahi Issa will be giving a lecture on the life of Marcus Garvey, sponsored by the Paul Robeson Freedom School. The Paul Robeson Freedom School’s mission is to empower the youth through a culturally related curriculum “while maintaining healthy relationships within the community.”

During this lecture, Issa will discuss Garvey’s influence on his people and the world. This year will mark their first annual lecture series.
