The 43rd annual Harlem Week wraps up with another successful celebration of events, concerts and gatherings. This year’s theme was “Harlem: Home of Immigrants, Honoring New York’s International Diversity.”

Thousands came out last weekend to 135th Street for “Summer in the City” Saturday and “Harlem Day” Sunday. Hundreds of vendors, artists and food merchants sold their products along 135th Street. Live music was also performed.

Harlem Week ended this Saturday with the Percy Sutton Harlem 5K Run & Walk and the Harlem Week Outdoor Film Festival, featuring the film “Queen of Katwe.”
