Prospective attendees who are interested in attending one of the most anticipated summer parties, the Prospect Park Soiree, are now able to buy pre-sale tickets. The second annual festival will be hosted by the Prospect Park Alliance.
“The Prospect Park Alliance partnered with the City of New York in the 1980s to maintain renovations surrounding and within the park,” said Deborah Kirschner, assistant vice president of marketing and communications of Prospect Park Alliance. “With the help of volunteers, they are able to host several educational and recreation programs throughout the year.
“I have been with Prospect Park Alliance for about four years and I absolutely love working here,” Kirschner continued. “Not only do we serve our community by making sure the park is well-kept, we host events to encourage communication in our city. So many people from different parts of the world come to visit and it’s just a great way to meet new people. This year’s soiree, we are planning to go bigger! There will be dancing, food vendors and different types of entertainment. We are actually planning on having a hat theme. We thought it would be cool to have people wear colorful and creative hats. We will also have more fun and interactive fun activities for our attendees to enjoy.”
The Prospect Park Soiree will take place in the peninsula Saturday, June 23, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. It will also mark the Prospect Park 150th anniversary. The festival is sponsored by City Point. For more information, go to https://soiree.prospectpark.org.
