Five Black women out for a round of golf at a club in the midst of what some describe as “Trump country,” claim they were discriminated against by White members of the club for allegedly playing “too slow.”

According to the Associated Press, three of the women in the group of Black golfers left the course after Steve Chronister, the former York County Commissioner and the father of the course’s co-owner Jordan Chronister, complained the women moved too slowly and eventually asked them to leave the course.
