New Lots Avenue comes alive with the third annual Culture of Business Fair

Saturday, June 9, New Lots Avenue came alive with the third annual Culture of Business Fair organized by East New York Restoration Local Development Corporation. The Fair promotes local businesses with a special spotlight on the New Lots Library. Head librarian Lea Salem had games, aerobics and storytelling for Summer Jam. The Homeowners Association held a Consumer Education workshop with Commissioner Lorelei Solis.

BMS Family Health Center, Man Up Inc., Community Retrofit and Grow NYC information tables vied with face painting as the community enjoyed a beautiful family day.

The highlight was the George Gray group playing jazz and promoting fitness.
