For the 18th year, the NYC Tap Festival returns with the weeklong (July 7 to July 13) celebration of performances, workshops, film screenings and award presentations, including the American Tap Dance Foundation’s Tap Dance Awards (July 10) at Symphony Space. Jared Grimes and Katherine Kramer are recipients of this year’s ATDF Hoofer Award, the Tap Preservation Award will be presented to the late Leticia Jay, the late Ralph Brown will be honored with the Tap Dance Hall of Fame Award and Brown and the Tap Happenings are this year’s inductees into the ATDF Tap Dance Hall of Fame.
