Fashion legends Badgley Mischka will headline the Cunard’s Transatlantic Fashion Week in 2020, and set sail on the Queen Mary 2. Fashion on the high seas with fashion icons Mark Badgley and James Mischka headlining the fifth annual Transatlantic Week will be spectacular. These top designers will launch their 2020 Resort line in an exclusive runway show, the first time a show of this magnitude will be presented on a Cunard cruise ship. In addition to the fashion show, the top design team will also offer a Q&A with guests during the seven-night transatlantic crossing, which departs South Hampton, England on May 24 and arrives in New York on May 31, 2020.

“Our style is reminiscent of glamorous Hollywood of the forties,” said Mischka. “And we feel Cunard emulates that same style, offering patrons a chance to don their best couture and dress for the special occasion.”

“Our brands both represent effortless glamour and we are excited about this partnership and giving Cunard guests an intimate glimpse into the world of Badgley Mischka,” said Badgley.

At Amsterdam Fashion Week Studio, Maison the Faux explores the true meaning of being yourself. A house can be rebuilt, remodeled, and shaped to suit your personality and individuality. The Maison pour Maison collection, shown on March 11 in Amsterdam, was beautiful, free-spirited and intimate.

During the multi-disciplinary presentation, Maison the Faux showed a series of vignettes that explored all faces of a home. Clothed in dramatic designs, models posed in a variety of scenes that depicted bedroom behavior at its most extreme. Many settings reflected the chaos of rehousing. Performers and movers maneuvered through the sets, feeling at home within the constructed framework. For day and night, the fashion designs were elaborate, feminine, sexy and fabulous. Maison the Faux had their performers breaking free from borders and walls, transitioning from lonesome and confined sensibilities towards a feeling of togetherness.

The company Maison the Faux is also subject to renovation. The company is expanding their multi-disciplinary ways and their creative studios are increasingly focusing on production as a creative design studio that works on art-direction, special design, costume design and e-commerce.

They will also present their collection during Tokyo Fashion Week. There, they will introduce various home products as an addition to the Maison pour Maison presentation at Amsterdam Fashion Week.
