Trump the ignoramus has once again let his loose lips comment on something that he knows nothing about. With the Cathedral of Notre Dame engulfed in flames, Trump jumped in with his advice on how to handle the fire. “Perhaps flying water tankers could be used to put it out,” said Trump the presumptive fire marshal. “Must act quickly,” he added.

It’s a good thing Trump was not in charge of fighting the fire because this wasn’t a forest fire and experts on the matter said dumping gallons of water would have further collapsed the cathedral and endangered firefighters—and possibly spread the fire to other structures.

Rather than offering his uninformed advice to situations abroad, Trump would be better off dealing with some of the incendiary issues at home, many of them provoked by his own indifference and malevolence.

For example, Trump’s proposal to transfer undocumented immigrants detained at the southern border into cities that have limited their cooperation with federal agencies finds him again wading into troubled water where he doesn’t have the legal authority, if several Democrats are right.

How any of this will play out is baffling and fueled with uncertainty since such a move of detainees has to go through the Department of Homeland Security, which is caught in the throes of turmoil after the departure of Kirstjen Nielsen last Sunday and further reports that another high ranking official is also leaving.

No need to ask who’s in charge because no matter what official is the head of any agency in the Trump administration, they have to answer to the boss in the White House. Ummm, we almost wrote out White Louse.

It goes without saying, but we’ll say it anyway, we are deeply disturbed by Trump’s attack on Rep. Ilhan Omar, and it merely reminds us again of his disdain and dismissive attitude when it comes to women, particularly to Muslim women and women of color.

Trump has this nefarious habit of igniting fires and then trying to put them out with gasoline. While he had something to say about the cathedral in Paris, what about the three churches torched in Louisiana? If he had any comment on the fires it flew under the radar.

In a few days another fire should get his attention and that one was set by special counsel Robert Mueller. Let’s see how Trump deals with this burning report that is scheduled to be released on Thursday, April 18, 2019.

Let’s hope it isn’t too heavily redacted such that important facts are hidden under the blackened lines and paragraphs.

Even so, we don’t need a report to tell us what we’ve known since day one about this miscreant and so-called leader, and those views are consistent with: to Make America Great Again—Trump Must Go!
