Harlem’s MLK Democratic Club partied with the community, Charles Rangel and Assembly Member Inez Dickens.
Not to be outdone, the Tioga Carver Democratic Club celebrated the season with the locals, Assembly Member Al Taylor, and District Leader Earnestine Bell Temple.
On Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019, First Central Baptist Church on Staten Island presented their yearly holiday event Room at the Inn held at the Central Family Life Center, Staten Island. This year there was a health expo and the theme was “Give yourself the gift of health.” There were dental screenings, a barber, health screenings for A1C, flu shots from SIUH ( Northwell), and HIV testing from Community Health Action. Lots of toys, food, and donated coats were given out. And of course the special guests were always Mr. and Mrs. Claus and Hip Hop Santa.
