In a standing-room-only event, on Saturday, Jan. 25, South Ozone Park-based CEMOTAP hosted their forum entitled “The Meeting—Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King and The Honorable Elijah Muhammad.” CEMOTAP—the Committee to Eliminate Media Offensive to Afrikan People—brought forth speakers including Minister A. Hafeez Muhammad, Dr. Rosalind Jeffries, Sister Fredrica Bey Professor, James Blake, and CEMOTAP’s co-founder Dr. James McIntosh.
The powerful and enthusiastically received meeting took place at the CEMOTAP Center on Rockaway Boulevard in Queens.
