As the number of coronavirus cases in New York increases, the issues of testing and quarantines come to the fore. Both were at the center of briefings made by Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio on Monday.
“The more you test, the more positives you will find,” Cuomo said at a late morning news conference in Albany. He pointed out that while New York now has the highest number of cases, at 142, only 8 of those who’ve contracted the virus are in the hospital.
