After an interview on CBS’s “60 Minutes” featuring Melba Wilson from, Melba’s Restaurant of Harlem, Gayle King, Co-Host of “CBS Morning News” donated 1,000 meals for essential medical, maintenance and support staff who have been on the front lines supporting Harlem residents.

In response to this pandemic, Harlem Hospital Center has been converted into a COVID-19 Emergency response operation. Since its inception in 1987, the Friends of Harlem Hospital Center (FOHHC) has raised more than $10M for programs at the Hospital and the community it serves.

The hospital serves a predominantly economically underserved community that experiences significant disparities in health outcomes.
