Digital Media Solutions (DMS), alongside the office of New York State Sen. Brian A. Benjamin and the First Corinthian Baptist Church (FCBC) food pantry, recently donated enough food to feed up to 400 families for a week.

Last Friday, May 29, volunteers distributed pre-assembled bags of groceries, each providing one week’s worth of food for a family of four. Those in need came to the food pantry of FCBC. The church is one of the few local food pantries that has been able to remain open during the health crisis. Staff workers from the FCBC food pantry have reported an increase in community members relying on the food pantry’s services, and they anticipate a continued need for donations and volunteers. Although the food pantry is operated by FCBC, its services are not specific to parishioners and are open to anyone in the community that needs assistance.

The efforts and donations made by DMS provided relief to help feed some of the most vulnerable members in one the hardest hit communities in the country. DMS is encouraging other companies and community members to also lend a hand to support families and communities desperately in need.
