The city dealt with another violent weekend with the NYPD reporting 11 shootings leaving 15 people shot. Reports indicate that the number of shootings so far this year has surpassed the number of shootings in 2019.
Among the victims is a 16-year-old boy who was reportedly grazed in the head by a bullet in the Weeksville section of Brooklyn. A 27-year-old man in the South Bronx was shot in the thigh during a drive-by shooting.
Shaiquan Wilson, 21, was fatally shot in the Bronx and he was taken to the hospital. Police are still looking for the suspect caught who shot him who was seen on surveillance video in the incident that took place last Friday night on Randall Avenue.
