12th Annual Juneteenth NY Festival

Juneteenth NY is holding their 12th annual Juneteenth celebration for the New York City community to celebrate a colorful day of rich culture through music, dance, poetry, skits, history, merchants, and families. On June 18th and 19th, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST, events will be held both online and in person at Herbert Von King Park in Brooklyn. There will be several Black vendors to shop from, as well as live entertainment.
Brooklyn Resists

Beginning Juneteenth, 2021, Brooklyn Resists highlights the history of Black Brooklynites and how they have responded to systemic racial injustice by rising up against those systems, as well as how the current protest movement connects to previous generations of activists and leaders through exhibitions.
Coming Together: A Juneteenth Celebration

A joyful celebration of Black culture via music, dance, and poetry, is presented by Concerts For Kids in honor of the Juneteenth freedom anniversary. “Coming Together” examines the value of family in all of its manifestations, as well as the role of connection in fostering resilience and transformation.

Harlem Business Alliance: Come Home to Harlem to participate in the Juneteenth Shop & Sip

SHOP & SIP HARLEM is the Harlem Business Alliance’s successful event series celebrating Harlem’s Black-owned businesses with a weekend filled with supporting restaurants and merchants around Harlem. Participation in the event and inclusion in Experience are included in the $175 table ticket.
Soul of Brooklyn Juneteenth gathering 2021

To Honor Juneteenth Soul of Brooklyn will be hosting a celebration of diverse arts and culture of the African diaspora. The event will celebrate freedom, community and diversity in the arts and culture.

This event is a three-day online event that is looking to celebrate and help promote Black businesses. The event will provide education on entrepreneurship along with entertainment and empowerment.
Juneteenth Men’s health fair on the beach

Senator Bernie Sanders will co-host a Men’s Health Fair with a number of other prominent people. For the men in our District, this beach celebration will be a day of self-care and mental health awareness. Several civic and healthcare organizations, as well as live music and a health screening van, will be on hand. Come in for a free hypertension and blood pressure screening.
Juneteenth March NYC

The NYFlyers will honor the holiday on Saturday, June 19, 2021, by participating in and supporting a solidarity march organized by the Keith Institute, which will take the shape of a 5k walk/run with NYC-based run crews and community groups.
Juneteenth Freedom Fest NYC: the INAUGURATION. A week-long Juneteenth

Juneteenth Freedom Fest NYC is a block party that will take place between 7th and 8th Aves from 12 noon to 6 p.m. The event has worked with NYC’s community affairs unit, NYCHA, and Harlem Children’s Zone to offer a fun-filled day for everybody! Music, food, vendors, live performances, tournament-style activities, and quiz games will all be available, with SOUL Nation electronics providing prizes!

Every year, Joe’s Pub offers A Juneteenth Event, a live, FREE musical celebration that takes place on the streets of New York City. Celisse, Ché Buford, and mal sounds will perform live, as well as the Juneteenth Legacy Project.
