The HBCU Hub is hosting its 3rd annual New York City HBCU week Sept. 20 through 25. Youth, families, alumni, and school administrators alike, will have the special opportunity to come together to celebrate and learn about Black colleges.
The event will be a one-stop shop for all things HBCU featuring online college access workshops, HBCU panel discussions, and a Battle of the Bands event at Restoration Plaza in Brooklyn.
Since 2016, The HBCU Hub has ensured students have pathways to learn about HBCUs and be supported as they transition to their HBCUs. The organization has awarded $14,000 in scholarships to students heading to HBCUs, as well as helped students win close to $200,000 in third party or institutional scholarships.
