Janaza funeral held for Malikah Shabazz

The Janaza Funeral Prayer for the late Malikah Shabazz was held Saturday at The Islamic Cultural Center of New York in Manhattan.

Following the Janaza, Shabazz was buried at Ferncliff Cemetary. A repast was then held at The Shabazz Center in Washington Heights.

Shabazz, the daughter of the late Malcolm X and Betty Shabazz, was found dead in her Brooklyn home on Nov. 22. Officials say she died of natural causes. Malikah was 56.
