Jennifer Jones Austin (247209)

The Rev. Al Sharpton announced last week that Jennifer Jones Austin, CEO and executive director of FPWA, is serving as the first vice chair of National Action Network’s Board.

The appointment of Jones Austin comes on the heels of the promotion of Ebonie C. Riley to senior vice president of policy and strategic partnerships for National Action Network’s Washington, D.C. Bureau.

As Black Americans and organizations such as the National Action Network fight to protect Roe v. Wade, both Jones Austin and Riley will be the first women to hold two of the highest-ranking titles in NAN’s 30-year history.
