Teachers of Color in The Classroom: The State of Racial Diversity in K-12 Education

The 2021 school year saw many students returning to classrooms with even fewer teachers of color, which was intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic. What will it take to get more Black and Latino teachers back into the classroom and retain them?
