The December 12th Movement marched down 125th Street on Thursday in honor of what would have been Malcolm X’s 97th birthday for the Black Power March.

Marchers assembled at noon at the Adam Clayton Powell State Office Building and marched down 125th Street. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. businesses along famed corridor closed in honor of Malcolm X.

We love Malcolm X. It’s very sad and depressing to think that the American white racist government had so much hatred and fear that they staged his assassination. Malcolm X only wanted freedom for his people. Freedom from police murdering us, systemic racism, poverty and injustice. May you walk with the Israelite ancestors. Love you my black warrior Prince Malcolm X.
