NEW YORK (AP) — A 15-year-old was arrested Sunday in the fatal stabbing of a 14-year-old boy at a New York City subway station, police said.
The male suspect was arrested a day after Yonkers resident Ethan Reyes was found by officers at a subway station with a stab wound to the abdomen. Reyes was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The 15-year-old will be charged with murder and possession of a weapon, police said.
Officers responding to a call of a crime in progress found Reyes around 3 p.m. Saturday on the northbound 1 line platform at the 137th Street–City College station in Manhattan, police said.
