The Apollo Theater hosted its annual “Kwanzaa Regeneration Celebration” on Friday Dec. 30.
The 2022 edition of the Kwanzaa celebration featured traditions from across the country in an evening of music, percussion, and modern and African dance.
The celebration also featured New York-based dance company Abdel R. Salaam’s Forces of Nature Dance Theatre, Harlem Children’s Zone/Forces of Nature Youth Academy of Dance and Wellness, Harlem-based actress Stephanie Berry and more.
