The Rev. Dr. Brandon Karl Allen of St. Stephen AME Community Church in Harlem and members, with Elder Elizabeth Crouell, held a backpack giveaway recently for community families that included books and supplies. The members of St. Stephen AME believe service extends past the walls of the church into the community, and are proud to lend a helping hand and hope to its neighbors.
