NYU’s Africa House recently welcomed three African bank leaders to New York City for a conference about “Digital Technologies, Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), and Economic Development”: Armando Manuel, chair of Angola’s Sovereign Wealth Fund; H.E. Dr. Ernest Kwamina Addison, governor of Ghana’s Central Bank; and H.E. Caroline Abel, governor of Seychelles’s Central Bank.
