The National Action Network (NAN) held its “Triumph Awards” at Jazz at Lincoln Center. The Rev. Al Shapton celebrated his 70th Birthday and greeted guests Stephanie McGraw, Robert DeNiro, Gladys Knight, Wynton Marsalis, and Carolyn “Cookie” Mason. Gov. Kathy Hochul was also on hand to present Sharpton with a plaque.
