Despite a rainy day, New Yorkers celebrated the 83rd Annual Marcus Garvey Day Parade and celebration in Harlem. Yaa Asantewaa welcomed everyone to the celebration. the keynote speaker was Minister Arthur Muhammad and Dr. Leonard and Dr. Rosalind Jeffries, Rev. Dennis Dillon, Councilmember Yusef Salaam, and Jordan Wright provided remarks.
