Pharrell Williams has been a busy bee these past few days. On Nov. 14, the producer/performer turned fashion icon was honored at the GQ 2024 Men of the Year Party, along with Dwayne Johnson and John Mulaney. The western-themed event was held at the Château Marmont Hotel in Hollywood, Calif. Guests who joined GQ’s global editorial director Will Welch included Katt Williams, Big Sean, Quavo, Offset, John David Washington, and Babyface, who posted on Instagram, “An American Rodeo Affair with @gq last night. Such a good time as always. Thanks for having me GQ and @willwelch.”
On Nov. 16, Pharrell and Yellow invited guests to “Bright Sparks, a Conversation with Pharrell + Phriends,” in partnership with Louis Vuitton, to journey through “Exchange & Exploration, the Power of Creativity & Community.” The event took place at the Louis Vuitton boutique in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood. Craig Melvin, who has anchored and co-anchored hours on MSNBC and “Today,” is becoming the co-host of the flagship 7–9 a.m. hours of “Today” on NBC, with Savannah Guthrie, replacing Hoda Kotb. Kotb, the veteran television host, announced back in September that she is leaving her full-time duties on the program. According to Variety, Kotb’s last official day on the beloved morning show will be Friday, Jan. 10, 2025. …
